STEVE SCHAEFER CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Steve SchaeferSteven Schaefer serves as Chief Executive Officer and President of ArmadaHealth. He is responsible for fulfilling the mission to transform specialty care access.

Schaefer has more than 22 years of executive experience with strategic development of emerging growth, life science and technology companies including nearly a billion dollars of capital raises and M&A deals. Schaefer concurrently serves as enterprise CFO for ArmadaGlobal. Most recently he co-founded CSA Medical, Inc., a medical device innovator of cryosurgical platforms, where he served as President, CFO and on the Board of Directors. Previously, Schaefer was CEO of Schaefer & Associates, providing corporate advisory and board service. Prior to this, he served as Executive Vice President and CFO for RewardsPlus/(RealLifeHR), and President of RewardsPlus Investment Corporation and CFO for FiberTech Medical, Inc.

A former practicing CPA, Schaefer has earned various awards including 2010 Smart CFO Winner, 2012 MIP Economic Impact Award Winner and 2013 and 2011 EY Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist.

Schaefer earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA, with majors in finance and accounting.

BENJAMIN SAFIRSTEIN, MD, FACP, FACC CHIEF MEDICAL OFFICER

Dr. Ben Safirstein Dr. Benjamin Safirstein joined ArmadaGlobal as its Chief Medical Officer in 2008. He brings deep experience in the healthcare field as a practicing physician, managed care medical director and visionary leader in the health advisory services sector. He has extensive peer relationships with leading physician specialists around the globe and has dedicated much of his career in evaluating clinical outcomes and "best care" providers.

Dr. Safirstein is currently Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at the Mount Sinai Medical School. He is the founder and past president of the Asthma Institute of New Jersey and Chairman of the Scientific Committee of the Arthur Ashe Institute for Urban Medicine.

Dr. Safirstein completed his training in Internal Medicine at the Mount Sinai Medical Center and his fellowship in Pulmonary Medicine at the Institute for Disease of the Chest in London, England. He has authored more than 50 peer reviewed articles on a wide range of pulmonary topics including asthma, occupational lung disease, sarcoidosis and lung cancer. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Chest Physicians. He is also a member of AOA Honor Medical Fraternity and the recipient of the Distinguished Alumni Award of the Chicago Medical School.

Dr. Safirstein was previously Chief Medical Officer and served as corporate Executive Vice President of Flagship Global Health, a membership-based, private medical group focused on attaining better healthcare services for its members. Acting as a member's healthcare advocate, FGH provided facilitated access to clinically acclaimed physicians and health care knowledge.

Prior to Flagship Global Health, Dr. Safirstein co-founded and served as Medical Director and Vice President of Oxford Health Plans, a prominent, ground-breaking managed care organization in Northeastern United States that included a network of high-quality doctors and leading hospitals. Dr. Safirstein was the accredited executive manager of the clinically based programs. In this capacity, he helped Oxford grow to a company generating nearly $2B annually in revenues.

GEB BUCHNESS SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Suzanne Sysko CloughGeb Buchness serves as Senior Vice President, Business Development for ArmadaHealth. He is responsible for growing the number of members served by opening up new market segments including imbedding our products into insurance products, memberships, wellness programs, telemedicine, population health management and employee benefit programs. He is also responsible for developing new distribution channels and new business with governments, unions and health plans.

Buchness has over 25 years of strong and decisive leadership experience in healthcare and ancillary benefits markets. His business development aptitude is evident through his experience creating sustainable revenue pipelines and market share growth. Prior to ArmadaHealth, Buchness served as Vice President, Strategic Business Development for Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of the Mid-Atlantic States, Inc., where he managed regional sales and account management, community relations, marketing and advertising. Prior to this, Buchness was Director, Strategic Marketing and Ancillary Benefits for CareFirst Blue Cross and Blue Shield. In this role, he made significant improvements to the Company’s ancillary benefit lines. He also served as President and CEO of The Dental Network Inc., where he led the Company’s rapid growth and acquisition.

He has proudly served on the Boards of the Maryland State Chamber of Commerce, the Salvation Army of Central Maryland, the National Association of Dental Plans, Primark Physician Services, The Dental Network Inc. and the National Blue Grid Governance Committee.

Buchness earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Roanoke College, Salem, VA.
