Whether it's a routine medical condition or serious diagnosis, TopDoc Connect offers our members direct access to the country's top physicians. More importantly, we serve as a guide and conduit to ensure our members quickly and efficiently reach the right specialist, at the right time.

We have no financial or other ties to the physicians we recommend. Our value lies in our objective, clinically-based proprietary specialist selection process. We give our employer clients the opportunity to offer a benefit that will truly make a difference. We offer additional services to bring members coverage and support at home and on the go.

Global Assistance

Facing a medical emergency can be scary, especially when traveling. Global Assistance, our travel and medical emergency services program, compliments TopDoc Connect and provides peace of mind for our members. The program covers both business and personal travel when more than 100 miles from home.

  • Pre-Trip Planning. Our robust Travel Portal provides extensive medical intelligence and security guidance for more than 170 countries, including details on immunization requirements, regional health concerns, local hospital listings and ratings, currency information and translation tools.
  • While Traveling. We offer a host of services to support members and their loved ones if faced with a medical situation while far from home, such as urgent medical and dental referrals, facilitation of hospital payments, transfer of medical records, replacement services and more.

Take Me Home

Upgrade to our Take Me Home Travel Emergency program, which combines our Global Assistance services with fully-paid Medical Air Evacuation. Take Me Home provides fully-paid medical evacuation for any member hospitalized while traveling to a hospital of their choice. This program also includes transportation for dependents. And, through TopDoc Connect, we provide members with continuity of care by connecting them to the right specialist upon their return home.

Available when traveling 100 miles or more from home. Global Assistance and Take Me Home emergency services are provided by UnitedHealthcare Global and subject to their terms, conditions, limitations and exclusions. Take Me Home is a registered mark of UnitedHealthcare Global.
